How do I win an auction on eBay?

I am quite experienced, and there is an element that I want really badly. of their very popular and so far is 55 offers. There are 2 days or so left, and I really want this theme, so I have to win the auction. Any advice? thanks.

wait until there like 30 seconds or less or lose it right then enter the highest bid at the earliest because people know u want it theres so when there is little time to put your maximum bid that you never know what Hit Em. I won more than 30 high-bid auction in this way
