I sold something on Ebay and I need help determining what fees I’ll have to pay?
I starting the auction listing at $45.00 for an item. Someone bid on the cell phone for $45.00 and I opted to end the auction early to sell it to him. Anyways, because I ended the auction early to sell it to the highest bidder, will I still have to pay Ebay seller fees?
If I do, can someone help me to calculate and determine what Ebay will get out of this? I’ve never sold on Ebay and I’m a little confused about the fees.

First, you should not have ended the auction early. The vast majority of bids occur within the last minute before the auction ends. By ending your auctions early, none of those last minute bidders got a chance to bid and you ended up with less money than you would have received if you waited.
You still have to pay final value and paypal fees when you end your auction early. Assuming you didn’t use any additional listing upgrades, your total fees including paypal for an item starting and ending at $45 will be $5.50. I don’t know what you are charging for shipping, but that cost will increase your paypal fee slightly as paypal charges their fees based on the total dollar amount paid by the buyer.
