The Renault is a brand of vehicle is a creation of the company Renault SA. Renault SA, Societe Renault Freres, as it was then known, was started by a man known as Louis Renault in 1899. Louis founded the Society of Renault SA, along with brothers Fernand and Marcel and friends Thomas Evert and Julian Wyer. Although the Corporation Renault was founded in the year 1899, vehicles had been produced from late 1897. 1HP Voiturette Renault was the first Renault car, bought by a friend Louis's father after he was given a test run on the 24th of December 1898. This friend's father Luis, was so impressed with the way the vehicle small operations and how was the streets that lead to your vehicle purchase. Louis was very bright, as he was a young aspiring engineer, having designed and developed a few models before being joined by his brothers who were skilled in the business after working in a textile company, which was owned by his father. When the company was starting, Fernand and Marcel was responsible for managing the company and Louis managed the production and design.

The brothers saw the vehicles they did achieve recognition after participating in a racing engine, which makes Renault instantly recognized. This was especially true after obtaining his first victory in the first city to competitive racing in the city that took place in Switzerland. This then resulted in increased production of this enterprise and rapid expansion. Marcel and Louis ran in company vehicles, but an unfortunate accident took the life of Marcel during a car crash in Paris-Madrid race of 1903. The same year Fernand retire because of health reasons and Louis was left to manage the company Renault itself. Company reputation for innovation of vehicles nurtured very early in the first sedan was introduced in 1899. At that time the cars were a luxury and the smallest available car Renault was a startling 3000 francs.

In addition to small cars, other vehicles are manufactured Renault buses, taxis and commercial vehicles for commercial use before of the First World War out. When this war began in 1914, Renault has made the switch to create ammunition vehicles, tanks, including the groundbreaking Renault FT-17 and military aircraft. The creations of Renault's military designs were very successful that Louis Renault was honored for his tact by the Allies in assistance to aid in their victory. When the war ended, Renault became the only French private manufacturer. When the 2nd World War broke out and the fall of France in 1940, Louis refused to make deposits of Nazi Germany, which had control of his company and after the liberation of France in 1944, was arrested and accused of collaborating with the German occupiers. He died in prison, even before making a defense. However, Louis Renault and his brothers are recognized for the great invention that made Back in the late 80's which is celebrated as a mark of success so far.
