Want to buy books, read them and then turn them back into cash by selling on Amazon.com Marketplace? Maybe you want to sell on eBay. Read on to discover what books to buy (for resale) and that would have given to the library (to read and return without charge).
1) Stick to Non-Fiction (mostly)
Non-fiction books have a much larger platform. People find they are interested in the subject. One exception: If you buy the new Harry Potter and you know you can dispose of it within a few weeks, you will be able to sell so quickly – and for a good price too. The same applies to Other popular bestsellers. But do not wait too long – otherwise you will have a flood of competition and the value goes up cents.
2) Check popularity of the book and topic
If you are a hot seller, there are plenty of turn-around, so if you want to resell your book, chances are good you can get a good price and sell quickly.
3) Be sure to turn your books around quickly
Do not buy in bulk (unless you can get a great discount). Buy, read and resell. Fast. The faster you are resold, the smaller number of competitors will, and the higher the price you can get.
4) Treat the books very well
Do not read during lunch or dinner. No brand in every way. If you can show your book as "like new" or at least "very good", your chances are much better than someone going to buy, and at a good price too. In fact, no less, and could well be forgotten if there is any competition.
5) Go for Niche Books
Look for books in the niches that are reasonably popular (for rapid movement), but not overcrowded. It is likely that there will be a steady stream of buyers checks to his book.
6) Care for new editions
Once a new edition comes out, your book is worthless. One more reason to be fast on their separate books, magazines and sell them as soon as I read. And if you are buying with resale in mind, always receives the latest edition.
7) What about eBay?
When it comes to selling books on eBay, the rules are similar. For eBay, it is even more important that his book is impeccable, unless you take a clear photograph of all its defects. Speaking of photography … eBay can be a lot more work, and you have to pay commissions sales, while on Amazon.com, you can list books for free and only pay if they sell them.
