When in New York to sell or have assessed a single photo frame antique wood that appears to have value? (Offline!

I have some old things to sell. I do not want to do it online. I want to be able to take it to a distributor of experts in New York, where I can say, as in Antiques Roadshow PBS, if something has value or not and how can I sell it. I have a beautiful old wooden structure image. I have 3 old typewriters of various makes and models. I have books old. Once again, I do not advertise these things online. I do not have the means to take pictures of them and I do not want to price, packaging and delivery a buyer, only to have complications. I take my items in person to the professional dealers, shops, auction houses, whatever their recommended I take it. Thanks for your advice.
