are car prices cheap at auctions?

uncle buys cars at auctions.. looking for an 03-04 Hyundai tiburon gt… wondering if prices at auctions are good? and if any websites are known for auctions

Public auctions? No.

Dealer-only auctions? Yes.

Never buy a car at a public auction. They don’t even fix their cars and don’t allow you to test drive. My dad overbid for a Cadillac and as he was driving off the lot, the brakes failed. Don’t ever go to a public auction!
