Do ebay auction sniping services sometimes fail?

Ok, I’m searching for an auction sniping site to bid on an item that ends while I’m at school and I’m afraid that the automatic sniping might fail, like submitting a bid too late.

Please recommend a site that you use or have used to snipe.

I am a developer for an online auction sniper and I have never seen a bid go through too late.

To be on the safe side, however, we always tell our users to snipe something manually if you absolutely must have it. It’s good to be suspicious, but the only way to trust a sniper is to use it.

I used to use a different online sniper before I began developing for this sniper. On the very first auction I attempted to snipe, the software never even placed the bid. From then on, I wasn’t able to trust that sniping software because it had already failed me.

Like I said, the only way to trust it is to try it. Find one that offers a generous free trial period and give it a go. Another really important aspect to consider is the customer service. Try to find an auction sniper that has a good record of customer service and that answers your questions in a timely manner (i.e. our service has live support chat for it’s users). You can usually find what a sniper’s users think about the service by reading what people say in the sniper’s community forum (if they have one).

Hope this helps!
