Black Auction

What better way to have clarity about the photos of the white clothing labels?
I just started a eBay auction business, where I used with care and men's high end designer clothes. I try to photograph the label to prove its authenticity, but when the label is white with Black letters say, I usually get a reflection and not a good picture. I have tried to take the picture in the direct sunlight and in a room without direct sunlight lamps only. I have tried to turn off the flash. Nothing seems to work. I am using a Kodak Easy Share C300 camera with 3.2 megapixels. Do I need a better camera with more megapixels?
Well I have a Kodak EasyShare CX6330 and I want to do is to enter the menu and the tab to the + – symbol, click it and set it to a number -. That under expose your image, but that label should be good. If your camera has selectable approach (with mine it should be live preview, then half press the shutter button repeatedly to reveal a red [] about what their focus) and then try to just focus on that label since thats do have problems with her. And do it in a little living room lit. You'd be surprised what I think is the cameras low light.
