2008 Subaru Outback Limited vs. 2005 Subaru Outback Limited?

Buying a car from one of two dealerships in British Columbia, Canada. Both cars are from the US. The 2008 was obtained by the dealer in a dealer auction in California; the 2005 was a trade-in from a couple in Washington State. The 2008 has 65,000 kms on it, and the 2005 has 86,000 kms on it. Would you buy the one-year car that was ridden hard and sold for cheap at a dealers auction, or the 4-year car that averaged 21,000 km/year?

Good thought but by 4 years Subaru are unreliable.
