Is there a way to sell cars on eBay or from home without having to pay taxes when you buy the car?

I want to be able to go to an auction, buying car and either sell online or locally. What I want to avoid is having to obtain a license (a fortune) and I will have to pay sales tax on cars I buy at auction. Is there a way to do this?

Yes, I want to buy a car without paying sales tax, too. Not going to happen, though. Different states have different requirements, but if you will sell more cars privately 3.5 per year in most states, you are considered a distributor and must obtain a license.
