What is the best way to buy a used car?

I refer to forms, there are many today, but none of them seems to give the best finish things. Auctions do not work for the public, especially because you can get a good deal on a popular car, as they offer to their real value. Also, government auctions are the best deals in town. Buying used cars from dealers also seem difficult, especially when the too good to be true and offers Carfax is a joke (supposedly). So far, I think buying a vendor-independent is the best option. What do you think? I'm in the market for a used car, since I am Zoidberg agent, and am a bit inclined toward a Vette "(but do not have high resale value) or a S2000. How buying a used car (assuming you are as miserable as a doctor from the Red Lobster)? Thank you!

The Internet has leveled the playing field When buying a car, whether new or used. Anything and everything you want to know about a car is on the Internet. Do your research!
