Ebay !!! Only experienced ebayers only please!?

I live in San Diego where garage sales, swap meets and auctions are very plentifull and go year round. I have been buyin like dress slacke and making a little money, looking to find great deals on high end designer brands to re sell, just today, I came across a pair of salvatore farragomo dress shoes for women. For like a pair of Ralph Lauren used slacks I start the bid at $8 on a 3 day auction with free shipping, should I raise the price and make it a 7 day auction? Question #2 What do you buy used and resell on ebay? I want to eventually quit my fulltime job and do it full time. Thanks for any suggestions!!

I sold on ebay for a little over a year and I was selling clothes too, it did not work out for me because they charge you a ton of money for your listing costs, and it seems like they restrict everything you do, for instance you have to be careful about trying to sell A & F & other high end designer wear because since many people have sold fake things to get a buck you have to pay for it. I spent $1600 on 2 bales of high end designer clothes and was not allowed to list them for months to get my money back on them. If I were ever going to try ebay again it would definitely be to sell informational products, I really don’t think unless you have an awesome drop ship company you can be successful on ebay, just my opinion though. I think ebay should suspend themselves, my experience with them was not good, I also think pay pal sucks be careful with them too. They will show on their sight that your payment has been deposited to your bank 2 days before it really is, I found this out the hard way too, I had $900 worth of checks bounce because of their mistake and I had the paperwork to prove it was their fault, they didn’t want to help me out of it at all on my overdraft charges.
