How do I apply tile / glass mesh on a table?

I bought a mesh table outdoors in an auction with the idea of covering with mosaic / Glass. Now – how do I do that??? I'm sure he'll have something to implement, in addition to pictures of the mesh, but what and how what place the mesh??? Give thanks for your help! This is a round, steel mesh top table, not the mesh is fine. I have a model in mind, and plan to use broken tiles / glass to make it a sun or large single flowers with stems on the table – something spring / summer like. It is used outdoors under a covered porch. The top is flush with the edge, and thought it would tile the edge, too.

There is both a difficult and tedious task. Some details more that can help. 1. It is the fine mesh, 2. Mest is the top color with the border around the edge? 3. It is the round table or …? 4. Does Tiles / Glass / a model in mind? 5. Is the substance of the mesh of steel or aluminum? You can approach this in a couple of ways. You can cut a piece of concrete the size Backer board, attach the table below, with washers and stainless steel screws or construction adhesive and then apply the tiles. If you use this method, also possible will allow the model could work in your garage or somewhere out of the elements, and then with someones help, place the finished piece and attach even below. Or you can fill the screen with something that allows the "THIN SET" mortar will not leach through the mesh;;, even if it means ending a link stronger with the table itself, it can really help if some mortar pushed into the mesh. Depending on the type / number of frames / placement / may not need wet saw or Diag. Grinder at all. That amounts to what to do in the security perimeter. You might even consider PVC / Vinyl Lattice Strip connected to the shore of the table, to the border, allowing a clean edge with mortar. I probably work this job from the inside – out, towards the perimeter. Once the area the edge is completed, remove the "Prey" soften the edges with an additional set of fine, or maybe find a method for implementing all edges tiles of the way around the perimeter. Mortar: Any exterior grade mortar Blue Jays going to do, may be sold on its location in various brand names. Joint consisteny to mashed potatoes, applied in small areas at a time, with a rectangular "teeth" of the palette, or an applicator, and overviews instead. No offense, but I can not imagine a Mastik, or adhesive for this type of tile work. Hopefully you have established either a pattern or have one in mind as are working along. Interior tile applications were / are often made in plaster. This is not a case. Once established, then you can define the spaces adequate mortar in certain color that coordinates or accentuates the pattern. Steven Wolf PLUS: Depending on your thoughts, design, type of tile, and their feelings about the aesthetic, could be applied mortar sufficient to create the situation where it becomes the "grout" the filling of the seam.
