Has anyone bought house from sheriff auctions?
i know they want cash what else should i need with me when i go, i know to pay back taxes.
You will need a letter from the bank stating your CASH AVAILABILITY. You will need to bring a cashier’s check for the down payment then within 3 (three) days bring the balance – this will include back taxes etc.
This is generally the procedure with all types of real estate auctions. Bring 10% or more of what you are willing to pay for the home of choice. Then have your bank letter to validate you can close the auction price within the 3 days.
