Where can I find car auctions in La? Or is there a directory?

Looking for car auctions in the Los Angeles, I am not a dealer. Also, does anyone know how hard it is to obtain a dealer license? Is it cheap and easy? I am looking to buy cars @ Auction, turn around and sell them on the street. Does anyone have any advice? As a cheap way to do it, I heard that if you buy sale w / in two weeks. I have to pay for the smog, registration or anything like that. Can anyone give me tips if u have.

The only way you get good deals on cars is in the dealers auctions, public auctions. It's pretty easy to get a dealer license, but there are certain requirements to be met. Not sure what these are in your state. What you probably want is a "wholesale" license so you do not have to have a physical building and all that.
