Auction address?

My coworker buys electronics (TVs, GPS systems, etc.) of an auction for a very low price. He I used to tell anyone how to locate this auction. Apparently, you have to go to Orange County (Los Angeles) and register, after bidding on items online that are shipped to you. Not sure about Orange County … How much I do know is that these items are from stores that have a surplus, or items that are returned to stores by consumers and then sold at this auction and ultimately auctioned cosumners again but at a discount. Anyone heard talk about this? What is the name of the company? Web Site? I forgot: its not store or tigerdorect.
