Ebay seller, has problems with an ebay buyer? Please help!?

I recently sold a 18K gold bracelet, it weighted 72 grams at over $1,300 dollars. The bidder paid promptly with paypal at the end of the auction. He had a feedback of 542 with no negative feedbacks. I shipped the gold bracelet that day with priority mail, insurance and with delivery confirmation. On the 3rd day the buyer emails me saying that the necklace was fake and that he wanted his money back. I know this bracelet is real 100% because I bought it at a reputable jeweler about 10 years ago. And I have used it for many years.
He said that if I didn’t refund his money then he will contact paypal. He said that the paint from the bracelet was coming off. He open a dispute from paypal. My money was frozen. He was told from paypal that he had to return it back. When I received the bracelet, it wasn’t the one that I sold him, it was another one. Paypal refunded his money. And now I dont have no money and no bracelet. What can I do? Paypal doesnt believe me.

that sucks big time…..If it were me….I would sue PayPal in small claims for the money. Does the bracelet look ANYTHING like the one you sent? Make sure have copies of ALL photos of the bracelet in your auction…print off the listing itself as well as ALL emails from the buyer and paypal….once Paypal gets the small claims paperwork they will cave…..the question you need to ask them is how can they side with either of you much less the buyer…they never saw “either” bracelet in person….Good Luck, you had the unfortunate blessing of dealing with a deadbeat scam buyer on ebay and now that they have changed the feedback forum…..you can’t even leave this butthead negative feedback for scamming you.
