Did you know when you go into a charity shop the staff “Take home” anything of value and sell the junk?

I used to do voluntary work in a charity shop (That will remain nameless) and you should see the items people donate..HONESTLY I am talking Clarance Cliff vases/plates Diamond rings etc etc, They only sell the “Junk” the sweat stained shirts etc etc.
The staff take home the valuable items sell it on that well known on-line auction and share the money out between themselves
I only worked there 8 Weeks because I thought this was a bloody disgrace…My question is…..What is your “Take” on this
