When shopping for Adobe Photoshop CS3 on eBay what do you look for to get an authentic, register able version?
The choices seem dizzying.
I don’t want to end up with a knock off, a student version, a CD-R with a xerox manual, etc, etc. I want the real thing. What was your secret to success when buying CS3 at auction?
Hey, Ebay isn’t that bad! You just have to be very careful reading the descriptions and especially paying attention to the seller’s feedback rating. Don’t bother with anyone with less than 99% feedback. And it’s better to deal with a seller that has many previous sales.
Have you considered Photoshop version CS2? It’s not that much different than CS3 actually, and cheaper. CS2 can be had for around $200 on Ebay.
Sometimes you’ll find on Ebay the latest version as an upgrade with an included earlier version. This is acceptable if the previous included version has not been registered. The upgrades are identical to the full version.
As an added precaution on Ebay, pay with a credit card or Paypal. This helps if there are any problems.
