Has anyone else used an auction service to sell tickets / currency?

A coin dealer that certain offices in Sydney and Melbourne, and brags about how much their total sales were for the auction, charges a buyers premium of 16.5% plus a commission from the sellers of a minimum 10% GST. Then hold the funds for 6 weeks on their own, obviously, to gain interest. before payment of issue. In my calculation, are paid more 25% of the value of the auction. Given its last auction raised $ 5M, which gives more than $ 1M, and have 4 auctions per year. I know that everyone has the right to make a living, but that seems very, very greedy to me.

I agree with you. Why should maintain much of their money? I search for other forms. Even if you have to sell for less than what you get at auction you can still succeed. Good luck
