Use Auctioneer To Make Gold

What is your main source of income in WOW (World of Warcraft)?

I want to do quests, bring in the items from the quest, and bring in my herbs and skins I collect. I know alot of money can be made at AH and i dot auctioneer and i know the name of the game is by low sell high. But Im still having trouble using this concept with auctioneer. And can I just sell the cloths, skins, and other junk I get on quests. Some one break that down for me first. Second how long did it take to get t o lvl 35, 70. How long does it take u to make 1 gold. And i really wanna here from ppl who basically sell skins andherbs or ore and other items gotten from the world and quests as apposed to always using the AH.

Ok I think I understand your questions.

Since you are below level 35, it is going to take you a while to make a lot of gold. At the moment I would concentrate on herbing. The new trade of inscription has put these at premium prices on most servers. The best way to get the most from the AH with this is to gather a stack (usually 20) check the AH for the current prices on that item, and place your up there for a lower price. Always have a buyout.

Selling quantity vs. trying to get high prices all at once has worked much better for me. You may also want to break down your stack into 5′s, the minnimum to get pigment from in inscription, and 1′ or 2′s, incase someone only needs that much to get the pigment. these smaller stacks I sell for more per item. Lets say you have a stack for 1G, I would sell the 5 for 30S, and the double for 20S and the single for 15S. I have found it is best to mix it up since you do not know what the economy will need at that time.

Now…items from quests. You are probably not going to have too much that you are able to sell right now. As you get higher these things become more in demand. What you can do is create other characters that coudl use these items, and make sure you have an enchanter that could disenchant green items, and use or sell the result.

How long it will take you to get to higher levels depends entirle on how often you play. But for the casual gamer here is my advice. Try to do as many quests together as possible. At the lower levels there are often multiple quests for the same area. Saves time. Also, you are nto going to be able to complete every quest before it turns gray, so concentrate as much as possible on yellow quests to get more points for your time. The other advantage to having multiple characters is that you can play only when you have rest point, once again giving you more points for each kill and advancing faster.
