What can you do to change how food animals are farmed?

I know that poultry is kept in little cages all their lives and never see the light of day. Some places say that free range or free run solves that problem but they aren’t really hunting and pecking in the farm yard. Pigs and cows are locked in cages about the same sizes as their bodies and fed from moving troughs. The floors or their cages are hard slippery wire bars. There is hardly room to lie down in them and sometimes they cannot lie down. Right now there is a no kill law in the US for throw away horses so they are auctioned off and shipped in double decker semi’s to Saskatchewan in Canada without food or water for days. If they don’t get auctioned off they are sent out into the US dessert and left to die. We can change this.

What can you do. Well you can only buy freerange and organic products.

The good thing about free markets is that everything is up to customers.
